FAQ

Frequently Asked question?

What qualifications does a podiatrist have?
Podiatrists are leg and foot experts! Our podiatrists have completed the Bachelor of Podiatry degree with the University of South Australia. They are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and are required to participate in minimum professional development activities to maintain this registration. For your safety, our podiatrists are trained in Senior First Aid, have regular police checks and participate in mandatory notification training. Our podiatrists are also keeping up-to-date with Covid-19 training under the guidance of the Australian Podiatry Association (APODA).
What kind of problems can a podiatrist help me with?
Most complaints below the knee! From ingrown toenails, warts, corns, blisters and diabetic footcare to heel pain, leg pain and injury rehabilitation – we’re here to help!
Do you accept all health funds?
We sure do! Contact your health fund to check your individual cover and rebate amounts.
Do I need a referral to see a podiatrist?
Nope!

However, some Medicare rebates ($54.60 from the consult fee) are available to those with a valid referral under a Care Plan/CDM (Chronic Disease Management Plan) – speak to your GP.

DVA Gold Card holders also need a valid DVA referral (D904) for bulk-billing under this scheme.
How do I make an appointment?
That’s easy – call us now or send a message and we will call you in business hours.
